64-year-old man taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Concord

Concord, California – Authorities say that a pedestrian was seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle in Concord.

The 64-year-old man was walking along Concord Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle headed westbound on Concord Avenue after trying to cross the road around 6:20 p.m. Thursday.

When the emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found that the man had suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital right away for treatment.

Authorities did not reveal further information about the accident as the investigation is ongoing.
