A heartrending incident unfolded on Tuesday evening, when a 16-year-old boy, Emanuell Alexander, was fatally shot in a road rage shooting in Dallas after a minor vehicular collision. According to local law enforcement authorities, the victim was among four passengers in an SUV traveling along Santa Anna Avenue towards Shiloh Road when its side mirror made contact with an oncoming vehicle’s mirror.

The driver of the second vehicle executed a swift U-turn, accelerated toward the SUV, and discharged a firearm. Amid the hail of bullets, the teenager was struck at least once, while the remaining three occupants miraculously emerged unscathed. In a frantic attempt to seek aid for the grievously injured teenager, the driver of the SUV sped to the 4600 block of East RL Thornton Freeway, approximately seven miles from the initial incident.

Here, the occupants managed to flag down first responders from Dallas Fire-Rescue at around 9:20 p.m., who immediately alerted the police regarding the shooting and transported the wounded teenager to a nearby hospital. Tragically, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The Dallas Police are still searching for the perpetrator of this heinous crime, and the community mourns the untimely and senseless loss of young Emanuell Alexander.
