Annual maintenance to take place in Concord’s dog parks

Concord, California – Due to annual regular maintenance and grass restoration, two dog parks in Concord will be closing soon.

The Paw Patch Dog Park in Newhall Park will be closed from Thursday, February 3 until Friday, March 18 for maintenance.

Baldwin Dog Park in the City of Baldwin will be closed starting on Friday, March 18, and will reopen on Tuesday, April 19.

Aeration, re-seeding, organic mulching, and giving time for the natural turf grass to grow and fill in the worn areas are all part of the renovation process.
