City Council looking to fill vacant seat on Concord Planning Commission

Concord, California – The Concord City Council is going to make an announcement at its meeting scheduled to be held on June 28th on the search for a new member of the Concord Planning Commission. One vacant seat will be filled with one new member for the remaining two years of the term that ends on February 28, 2023.

There are five members on the Concord Planning Commission, and they are responsible for developing and maintaining the city’s general plan.

Members are in charge of running the City’s General Plan and reviewing projects, preliminary subdivision maps, usage permits, and rezoning applications.

People interested in applying for the position must be Concord residents.

The meetings of the commission take place at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month in the City Council Chamber, which is located at 1950 Parkside Drive.

Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022.
