Concord Music and Market welcomes Zepparella for free live performance at Todos Santos Plaza

Concord, California – Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy an evening of live music this week as the City of Concord continues its popular Music & Market concert series with a performance by the nationally recognized tribute band Zepparella.

The free community event will take place on Thursday, July 16, at Todos Santos Plaza and is presented by Pacific Service Credit Union. Organizers are encouraging music fans to come downtown for what promises to be another energetic summer concert.

City officials also thanked the many sponsors that help make the Music & Market series possible, including Pacific Service Credit Union, Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery, Ashby Lumber, Marathon Renewables, Concord Police Association, MCE, Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association, Brookfield Residential Northern California, John Muir Health, and Hilton Concord.

All female Led Zeppelin tribute band returns to Concord

This week’s featured performer is Zepparella, an all-female American tribute band dedicated to celebrating the music of the legendary rock group Led Zeppelin.

Founded in 2005 in San Francisco, California, the band was created by drummer Clementine. The current lineup features Anna Kristina on lead vocals, Gretchen Menn on guitar, Holly West on bass, and Clementine on drums.

Known for combining faithful performances with their own creative style, the musicians have built a strong following by bringing fresh energy to Led Zeppelin’s classic songs while adding their own musical interpretation.

According to organizers, the group is made up of “four women intent on bringing the passion, the beauty, the aggression, the musicality of Led Zeppelin alive.”

They also note that Zepparella “explores their own improvised magic within the framework of Zeppelin’s mighty songs.”

The concert is expected to be one of the highlights of this year’s Music & Market series, giving attendees the chance to enjoy classic rock in the heart of downtown Concord. Community members are encouraged to attend the free performance and experience an evening of live entertainment at Todos Santos Plaza.
