Concord police arrest San Francisco woman after investigation into alleged inappropriate relationship with 17-year-old boy

Concord, California – A woman from San Francisco has been arrested after Concord police investigated allegations that she engaged in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy.

The Concord Police Department announced that Sofia Ann-Buitron Drotts, 26, was taken into custody following an investigation into the reported conduct involving the juvenile male.

According to investigators, the case began after the Contra Costa County Probation Department alerted Concord police to concerns involving a female temporary employee with Contra Costa County Health. Authorities received information suggesting the employee had allegedly been involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with the 17-year-old while in Concord.

Investigation remains active

After receiving the information, Concord police detectives opened an investigation to examine the allegations. During their work, investigators said they gathered evidence that supported the reported claims.

Based on those findings, officers obtained a Ramey warrant, which led to Drotts’ arrest. She was later booked on charges connected to the investigation.

Police said they have not identified any additional victims at this time. However, investigators are continuing to examine the case and are asking members of the public to come forward if they have information that could assist the investigation.
