Crash cushion replacement work on Kirker Pass Road starts today

Contra Costa County, California – Crash cushion replacement work will be done by the Contra Costa County Public Works Department nearly one mile southwest of Nortonville Road on Kirker Pass Road.

If no unexpected circumstances arise, the replacement project will start today and end tomorrow, with working hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To regulate the traffic, single lanes will be closed on each of the northbound lanes and the southbound lanes.

During work hours, the left turn lane into 6141 Kirker Pass Road from the southbound lanes will be blocked. Message boards will be placed in key locations across the city in order to notify motorists before planned work starts. There may be minor delays for drivers.
