Dental assistant facing charges for sexual acts with a child under the age of 10

San Pablo, California – The Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office pressed charges against a dental assistant who was arrested by the San Pablo Police for conducting sexual activities with a child under the age of ten.

The dental assistant, 22-year-old Richmond resident Bonerge Maldonado-Zaldana, worked at the San Pablo Towne Centre Dental Office where the alleged crime took place more than a week ago, on April 5, 2022.

The dental assistant was arrested on April 8^th after authorities collected evidence against him, including statements from the dental office staff and the victim’s mother. The Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office pressed charges against him subsequently after his arrest.

In addition to his current position at the San Pablo Towne Centre Dental Office, Maldonado-Zaldana was formerly employed at Western Dental in El Cerrito.
