Traffic Alert: Brentwood Boulevard repairs set for July, expected delays in at least two occasions

Brentwood, California – Under a recent plan issued by the Contra Costa County Public Works Department (CCCPWD) for required pavement repair on Brentwood Boulevard, residents and commuters in Brentwood are advised to be ready for small travel interruptions in the coming period. The repairs are set to take place on two consecutive Fridays, July 12 and July 19, 2024, from early morning until the afternoon.

The route under renovations spans Sellers Avenue to Byron Highway. Assuming good weather, work crews will be working from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Electronic message boards will be positioned properly to notify drivers about the continuous work and anticipated delays, therefore reducing inconvenience. Drivers passing this region at these times should expect delays ranging from 15 to 20 minutes.
