Five suspects arrested for robbing an Apple store in Walnut Creek

Walnut Creek, California – Authorities said five people were arrested in connection with an Apple store theft in Walnut Creek.

The theft took place on Saturday morning when the suspects entered the store and allegedly stole multiple items, including laptops, iPads, and iPhones. After that, the suspects fled the scene on foot to two vehicles that were waiting for them only a few blocks away.

The Walnut Creek Police Department alerted other agencies about the theft and provided a description of the vehicles.

A few hours later, Los Gatos police officers stopped a vehicle that was described as being involved in the theft, arrested two of the suspects, and recovered two guns, including a ghost gun with a 30-round magazine.

Shortly after, they located another vehicle involved in the crime with the remaining three suspects inside and reportedly found the stolen merchandise from the Apple store.

All suspects were taken into custody.
