One arrested, one dead following an accident in Marina District
San Francisco, California – San Francisco police said a 40-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash with a car late Monday night in the Marina District.
At 11:43 p.m., officers arrived at the intersection of Francisco Street and Richardson Avenue and discovered the male victim in the street. He was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, according to authorities.
Police said the person driving the vehicle was a 35-year-old male, who remained at the scene. Officers suspected the driver was impaired and conducted a DUI investigation.
The driver was arrested and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.
