Pet lovers can adopt an animal for free at CCAS throughout June
Contra Costa County, California – Pet lovers interested in adopting an animal will be able to do so at the Contra Costa Animal Services and will not be charged with any fees associated with the adoption of any animal throughout the entire month of June.
Contra Costa Animal Service came up with the idea of free adoption in order to facilitate finding permanent homes for homeless animals so that they can enjoy life with loving families.
The adoption fee, as well as the costs of spaying or neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations, are covered by the free adoption promotion. People are paying up to $284 for regular adoptions, depending on the pets.
Adopters who are interested in taking advantage of this free adoption campaign may do so by going to the CCAS adoption facility in Martinez, where they can meet the animals and adopt a new member for their family. To view animals available for adoption, click on this link.
