Teenager arrested for killing a family member

San Jose, California – According to authorities, a 15-year-old teenager was apprehended on suspicion of fatally shooting a female family member in San Jose on Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Story Road at 7:57 p.m. and discovered a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Her name has not been revealed because she was declared deceased.

The 15-year-old was arrested at the scene and booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of manslaughter, police said.
