Teenager expected to recover after being pulled from surf at Ocean Beach

San Francisco, California – The San Francisco Fire Department says a youngster who was rescued Friday morning after being submerged in the waves at Ocean Beach will make a full recovery.

Around 11 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a drowning at Ocean Beach, according to the fire department.

Following an evaluation, paramedics determined that the teenager will recover, according to fire officials on social media.
