Three bodies found in San Francisco, drug overdoses suspected as main cause of death

San Francisco, California – Three people were found dead on the streets of San Francisco’s Mission District early Saturday morning, authorities said. They were believed to have died as a result of a possible drug overdose.

At around 7:52 a.m., San Francisco police officers went to the 3400 block of 19th Street to check on the well-being of three people, according to the department.

Upon arrival, the officers noticed that all three of them were unresponsive. First responders tried to resuscitate the three people, but their efforts were unsuccessful. All of them were pronounced dead at the scene.
