Two individuals considered responsible for a shooting incident at a BART station arrested by BART police

San Francisco, California – Two individuals considered responsible for a shooting over the weekend that resulted in injuries have been arrested after being recognized by a BART officer on patrol last night.

The incident was all captured on BART surveillance video, and BART police have been on the lookout for two individuals, a man and a woman.

At around 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Officer Francisco Rodriguez saw the people at the Montgomery Street BART station in San Francisco who were sought for questioning about the shooting.

Rodriquez immediately notified the BART police dispatch center, resulting in the arrest of the two individuals later.

According to the police, the individuals were subsequently positively identified by the victim in the shooting that took place on Saturday. Both suspects were taken to Santa Rita Jail following their arrest.

The suspects have been identified as 28-year-old Selvin Lopez of San Francisco and 18-year-old Jeysi Sotoguzman of Oakland.

According to the police, Lopez was taken into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a loaded and concealed firearm, conspiracy, possession for sales of narcotics, carrying a firearm while possessing narcotics, and committing a felony while out on bail or release from incarceration, while Sotoguzman was taken into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a loaded and concealed firearm, conspiracy, possession for sales of narcotics, and carrying a firearm while possessing narcotics.
